I've watched families lose someone and then have to scramble — selling off personal belongings just to cover a burial, on top of everything else they were already grieving. That's not something I could just watch happen and not do anything about.
I got my license this spring, but the reason behind it isn't new. It's about making sure that when something happens, a family isn't left figuring out how to pay for a funeral, keep the house, or hang onto a car — on top of everything else they're already carrying. That's what a policy is supposed to do: take one hard thing off the table so people can grieve without also panicking.
A quick introduction, in my own words.
Front Porch Insurance is based here in Kentucky, where I was born and raised — this farmhouse belonged to my mother, and it's about as "front porch" as it gets. But there's a long history of Kentuckians answering Texas's call: volunteers from Kentucky joined the fight for Texas independence back in the days of the Alamo and San Jacinto, and in my own way, I've followed that same pull west.
I served at Fort Hood in Killeen, twice, and later worked as a recruiter in Coppell, just outside Dallas. I fell hard for the Lone Star State, and I've always said: if I ever get back to Texas, I'm gonna nail my feet to the ground. I'm licensed in both Kentucky and Texas — Kentucky is home right now, but Texas is very much part of my long-term plan.
Licensed to write insurance anywhere in Kentucky — over Zoom or by phone, wherever you're most comfortable. My focus area follows the I-65 corridor through Louisville, west to Breckinridge County, southwest down the Western Kentucky Parkway to Litchfield, Bowling Green, and Franklin, and east to Glasgow, Horse Cave, Buffalo, Campbellsville, Lebanon, and Perryville, following the Kentucky River up toward the Ohio.
Licensed statewide in Texas. My focus area runs from Red River County down through Pittsburg to Tyler, east to the state line. And if any of my military friends from Fort Hood, Killeen, or San Antonio need coverage, I'd be glad to help.
